NYR: Check In #3

You didn’t think I forgot, did you? Okay, so. Again, nothing’s changed. I hate coming to you guys with no updates but I didn’t want to skip an update because, well, I want to share my progress.

So, here are the ones I still have to work on:

Read, read, read. This month, I will read a book. By today and the next check-in, I will have at least one book review posted.

Learn a new language. American Sign Language has always been the goal. In me defense, I’ve actively tried to find classes to take but I couldn’t at my alma mater because I still owe them some stuff. #Reality. Maybe this summer I will spend it learning some ASL, I have to.

Travel to 3 new places. Yea, I’m gonna make this a summer activity as well. If all goes as planned, I will accomplish this by the end of summer. We’ll see.

Do at least one thing that I’ve been afraid to do. So, this might be a copout but I actually did do something I was afraid to do… I uploaded my first public YouTube video, which you can find here and here. I was afraid because the internet is mean, the quality isn’t where I wanted it to be and who isn’t a little insecure sometimes? I put those doubts aside and uploaded it anyway. Let me know what you think!

Have [more] fun! Another summer activity.

This year is moving too fast for me. Forreal. I mean, it’s almost halfway through and looking back, I see why people have a hard time keeping up with resolutions; time moves too quickly! I’m trying my best, though, and will continue to.

How are you doing? I want to hear/learn more about you. Have you been keeping up with your resolutions? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
